One of my main intention coming over to Taiwan is to meet up with my relative in Liouquei, one of the smaller town in Kaohsueong proviance. His name is Keng Fong , my father's younger brother, during the China civil war between the Nationalist and the Communist, my father flee into Thailand while my relative being a Nationalist soldier retrieved into Taiwan . I had never met him before, but I managed to obtain his address and telephone from also my relative in Bangkok. Yesterday I call him up and he seems happy to meet me too, after I told him my current location and he advised me to take a longer detour as the shorter road was badly damage and currently under reconstruction. But Idetermined to take the normal road as I saw cars still pilling on this road, it maybe a little bumby on gravel but very much shorter than the detour.I had rode thru' many damaged gravel roads before ,so it was not a problem, moreover the terrain is on the down side . By 2.00pm rode into the Liouquei town not before crossing a temporary bridge, the actual bridge was swept away by the recent 88 typhoon . It was not difficult to find my relative shop as it is located in one of the side road to the main road. A shop selling big sack of rice and animal foods, a very small business for him just to past time .
