The plan for today is a very short easy 7 km ride to Yuching. The idea is to reach there early and check into a budget hotel ,so that we can have a full day of rest ,cleaning ,washing and charging etc,this is one way to make fully worth the hotel cost you are paying. After saying thank you and goodbye to the police staffs in Nanxi,we went looking for breakfast in town,and have rice with mixed vege and meat,quite a heavy breakfast for Malaysian,most probably the customers here are hard labours working on their fruit farming. Less than an hour riding on a wide route 3 with very broad shoulder, we already arrived in Yuching ,as we rode into the town centre, we soon met one cyclist and i requested him to help us find a cheap accommodation, he in turn call another friend Mr Chang who brought us to a basic hotel NTD 500 which is normally for NTD 700-800. We had a quick nap before we went out for lunch,and also the chance to witness a celebration of temple festival ,sort of a big occasion for the whole town with young and old participation. For dinner we had Luroufan and mutton soup,follow by mango and mixed abc ice. A surprise when Mr Chang and wife came and invited us for supper of the local favorite of sticky rice with steamed pork rib soup.
