Another record breaking day as we clocked a century ride today from Yuching to Fangliao. We started at 9 in the morning after calling Mr Chang to join us for breakfast.He then guided us out of town.Thank you Mr Chang for all the hospitality while we rested well in Yuching. The ride started with some moderate rolling hills to warm us up but most of it was really flat with very wide road shoulder for both of us to ride even side by side. Pingtung is one big town we had lunch by which we already clocked a distance of 60 km.We decided to continue on route 1 with the sea coast on our right.By 4 pm we arrived at Fangliao,a fisherman town and decided to find a place to camp.We approached the Police station to try our luck, they were friendly and advised us no need to camp,and instead directed us to one of the Giant Bike Shop homestay.We choose the cheaper dormitory bed for NTD 300 per person.While our room on top floor, the bike shop at ground floor.The cyclist owner did not stay in the shop,so there is a lot of trust on us not to steal anything from the shop. We watched the whole AXN movie of SPEED until 1.30am before we went to bed.
