Another day of hard climbing at the Taroko. We started at 7.40 at altitude 400m to camp at another rest stop in Xinbaiyang at altitude 1644m.Thats means we had climbed 1200m within 5 hr 20 min over a distance of 30km.Very very tough with full load. Our average speed is only 5.5 kmh.My pain at the butt is still giving me trouble, but was better than yesterday.Finger cross, the pain will goes off as days goes by,as we still yet to climb Mt Hehuang and Wuling, the highest motorable road in Taiwan.Tony so far,is doing very well with his Grasshopper, getting stronger by the days. The temperature drops to 15C at the campsite and we had to quickily changed to our dry clothings without taking bathe.Today also saw Tony had his front tire flat while resting at the campsite preparing his noodles. Upon ckecking, the leak was right at the valve, probably overheated on the downhill.early bed at 7pm.
